Harry S. Truman

The Presidency of Harry Truman is speaking of the time of Moses being raised up to deliver Israel from the bondage of Pharaoh and victory over the beast. God reveals His Right Hand through the plagues upon His enemies and deliverance of His covenant people. Israel is delivered from slavery and death and brought to Mt. Sinai to receive His law.

The name meanings of Truman and the other heads of government during his Presidency is depicted in story form as such:

God sends the 'true man' Moses, His peaceful ruler who was delivered from death as a child in an ark, into Egypt to deliver His people from the affliction of Pharaoh. Israel was put into bondage, building bricks for Pharaoh but God heard their cries and delivers them from the iron furnace. He gathers them together to Moses to be delivered from the persecution of Pharaoh. Israel gathered together and believed Moses yet quickly lost faith when persecution ensued. Ultimately, Israel did come to believe the Lord sent Moses after His signs and miracles were displayed. Israel put all their faith in God after they saw He delivered them from death. Moses was used by God to bring peace and freedom to Israel where He brings them to Mt. Sinai to receive His law.

Truman's Presidency is defined by the dropping of the Atom bomb and the victory of World War II. These events correspond with the battle between Moses and Pharaoh and the victory the Lord gives Israel through the plagues sent upon Egypt. Truman's Presidency saw the beginnings of the Cold War and the Civil Rights movement which depict the time period of Israel in the wilderness and the wars they would encounter during the days of Moses and Joshua.
